Former Liverpool Captain Henderson Set to Join Saudi Arabian Club

Jordan Henderson, former captain and midfielder of English club Liverpool, has agreed to terms with Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq.

Several sources report that Henderson met with Al-Ettifaq’s coach, and the parties agreed. Henderson will join Al-Ettifaq after his contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the season.

Henderson, who joined Liverpool from Sunderland in 2011, scored 29 goals in 360 Premier League appearances. He is a two-time FA Cup winner and a UEFA Champions League winner.

Al-Ettifaq is currently coached by former Liverpool player and legend Steven Gerrard.
