Help Nepal Sports Club retain Title in 7th PM’s Cup NVA Volleyball League.
Help Nepal Sports Club has once again asserted their dominance in Nepali volleyball, winning the 7th Prime Minister’s Cup NVA Volleyball League. The departmental team Nepal Police Club get defeated in the final by scoring 3-1 to remain undefeated on the men’s side.
Help Nepal started the match strongly, winning the first set 25-19. However, the Police fought back in the second set, winning 25-11. The third and fourth sets were closely contested, but Help Nepal won 25-18 and 25-18.
With this victory, Help Nepal thrice won the PM’s Cup NVA Volleyball League. They are also the defending champions of the National Volleyball League and the National Games.
In the women’s category, Nepal Police Club won the title, defeating APF Club by a score of 3-1. This is Police’s second consecutive title in the PM’s Cup NVA Volleyball League.
The tournament was held at the National Sports Council (Rakhepa) Covered Hall in Tripureshwar. The prize money for the tournament was Rs. 15 lakh, with the winners receiving Rs. 6 lakh, the runners-up receiving Rs. 3 lakh, and the third-place finishers receiving Rs. 1 lakh 50 thousand.
