Nepal Police Club women’s team Crowned Champions of 7th PM’s Cup NVA Volleyball League.
The departmental Nepal Police Club women’s team has been crowned champions of the 7th Prime Minister’s Cup NVA Volleyball League. The team defeated another departmental team, Nepal APF Club, in the final by a score of 3-1.
The match was held on Saturday at the National Sports Council (Rakhep) Covered Hall in Tripureshwar. Police won the first set easily, 25-12, but APF fought back in the second set, winning 21-25. The third and fourth sets were closely contested, but Police came out on top in both, winning 25-23 and 25-19.
The Police’s victory is a testament to the team’s strength and depth.
The PM’s Cup NVA Volleyball League is one of Nepal’s most prestigious tournaments. It is organized by the Nepal Volleyball Association (NVA).
The tournament was held at the National Sports Council (Rakhepa) Covered Hall in Tripureshwar.
From the league stage, the Police came top, and APF came second in the finals. Police, who became champions, received 6 lakh rupees. APF, who became the runner-up, got Rs. 3 lakh.
New Diamond Youth Sports Club won third place, and former winners Tribhuvan Army Club won fourth place. They received 1 lakh 50 and 75 thousand rupees respectively.
Nepal Police Club, New Diamond Youth Sports Club, Nepal APF Club, Tribhuvan Army Club, Everest Volleyball Club Butwal and Gandaki Pradesh Volleyball Association participated in the women’s competition.
