Nepal and India face off in the SAFF U-19 semi-finals.
Nepal and India will meet in the semi-finals of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-19 Championship after both teams make a place in the final four.
India entered the semi-finals as the winners of Group B with a thrilling 2-1 victory over Bhutan. Nepal finished second in Group A behind Pakistan.
The match between India and Bhutan was a tight affair, with both teams level at 1-1 until the 64th minute, when Ricky Hoba scored the winner for India.
Conversely, Nepal had a more comfortable victory over Maldives, winning 4-1.
The two teams have met numerous times, and their rivalry is one of the most intense in South Asian football. Nepal will look for victory on home ground, while India hopes to continue their winning streak.
The semi-finals of the SAFF U-19 Championship will be played on September 29 at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu, where Nepal will face defending champion India, and Bhutan will challenge Pakistan to take place in the Final.
