CAN and IME Pay sign strategic partnership agreement
Kathmandu, Nepal: Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) and Solutions Limited (IME Pay) signed a strategic partnership agreement on Thursday. CAN Secretary Paras Khadka and IME Pay Chief Executive Officer Prabin Regmi signed the agreement.
Under the agreement, IME Pay will be the ticketing partner for the international games organized by CAN in the country for the next two years. The company will also provide 15 million rupees to CAN over the two years in exchange for a 12 per cent revenue share.
CAN Secretary Khadka said the partnership with IME Pay will help develop Nepali cricket. “It is good news for all of us that an organization like IME Pay has decided to invest in Nepali cricket,” Khadka said.
IME Pay Chief Executive Officer Regmi said he was proud to be associated with Nepali cricket. “I would like to thank CAN for providing the opportunity to collaborate for developing Nepali cricket,” Regmi said.
In addition to being the ticketing partner and providing financial support, IME Pay will also insure 100 ground staff and bring an insurance package for the audience.
