Chasing a target of 127 runs at the Mulpani Cricket Stadium, Phoenix lost just three wickets in 16.1 overs to reach the finish line. Sushant Thapa led the way with an unbeaten 78 off 58 balls, while Krish Iyer and Rajkarn Shah contributed 19 and 10 runs respectively.
Srijan Ghimire took two, and Sarthak Dhital took one wicket for Aastha, but it was not enough to prevent Phoenix from cruising to victory.
Astha, who won the toss and chose to bat, was reduced to 126/5 in their allotted 18 overs after the match was reduced due to rain. Bhupal Dangal top-scored for Aastha with an unbeaten 66 off 75 balls, while Sarthak Dhital and Santosh Gajmer chipped in with 20 and 12 runs respectively.
Krish Iyer was the pick of the bowlers for Phoenix, taking two wickets for just 15 runs in four overs.
