Oman Sets 146-Run Target for Nepal
In a crucial group stage match of the ICC T20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers, Oman posted 145/9 against Nepal at the Tribhuvan University cricket ground in Kirtipur on Thursday.
Oman captain Zeeshan Maqsood led the way with a knock of 32, while Nisham Khushi and Pratish Athawale contributed 24 runs apiece.
Shaqeel Ahmed remained unbeaten on 22, while Aayan Khan chipped in with 18. Maqsood and Khan put on a crucial 49-run partnership for the fifth wicket.
For Nepal, Karan KC was the best bowler, claiming three wickets. Sompal Kami and Sandeep Lamichhane took two wickets each, while Gulshan Jha and Abinash Bohra took one wicket each.
