Meanwhile, in the subsequent match of the day, Kachankawal Rural Municipality and Bahardashi Rural Municipality settled for a draw, sharing the points.

Bhadrapur Blazers Triumph Over Kankai Municipality

The Bhadrapur Jhapa Gold Cup witnessed an intense clash as the Bhadrapur Blazers secured a 2-1 triumph over Kankai Municipality at Mechi Stadium. This win propelled the Blazers to accrue three crucial points in the ongoing competition.

Sanam Gurung of Bhadrapur Blazers showcased his prowess by netting a goal in the 19th minute, setting the tone for his team’s success. Adding to the tally, Mausam Subba Limbu struck another goal in the 81st minute. Although Kankai’s Salin Karki managed to score a consolation goal in the 83rd minute, it wasn’t enough to alter the course of the match. Sanam Gurung was rightfully awarded the player of the game for his outstanding performance.

Kachankawal and Bahardashi Conclude in a Draw

On the other hand, the second match featuring Kachankawal and Bahardashi concluded in a goalless draw. Bijay Tudu of Bahradashi was named the player of the game, receiving a cash prize of Rs 2000 and a trophy from Gold Cup President Dipesh Dhakal, Jhapa District Sports Development Committee President Prashant Bhandari, Raju Dahal.
