Kamal Rural Municipality marked their dominance in the match, securing a 2-1 victory over Damak Municipality at Mechi Stadium. The game, held under the Bhadrapur Jhapa Gold Cup, set the stage for Kamal and Jhapa’s relentless pursuit of victory.

Nar Bahadur Magar of Kamal Rural Municipality took the lead early, finding the net in the 11th minute. Younish Magar further solidified their position with a goal in the 59th minute. Damak’s Sanjay Dhimal managed a consolation goal in the 72nd minute, but it proved futile in preventing Kamal and Jhapa’s triumph.

Younis Magar’s stellar performance earned him the coveted Player of the Match title. Gold Cup President Dipesh Dhakal and Mayor of Gauradah Municipality Chhatrapati Subedi presented him with a cash prize 2000 and a trophy, recognizing his exceptional contribution to the team’s success.
