Sudurpaschim Slashes Through Bagmati in PM Cup T20 Tussle!

Kirtipur, Nepal: Sudurpaschim Province carved their name into the Prime Minister’s Cup Women’s T20 with a clinical 6-wicket dismantling of Bagmati Province at the TU Cricket Ground. This dominant display propelled Sudurpaschim to their third win in four matches, amassing six crucial points. Conversely, Bagmati slipped to their second defeat but remained in contention with four points.

Sudurpaschim’s chase of Bagmati’s modest 88 proved a mere formality. Bindu Rawal (28) and Kabita Joshi (27*) steered the chase to victory in 19 overs, losing only four wickets. Ashmina Karmacharya and Soni Pakhrin managed a solitary wicket each for Bagmati, but their efforts were in vain.

Earlier, Bagmati, choosing to bat, stumbled to 87/8 in their allotted 20 overs. Kanchan Shrestha top-scored with 19, while Helisha Gurung (16), Soni Pakhrin (13), and Salina Silwal (10) provided some support. However, Sudurpaschim’s bowling attack, spearheaded by Lakshmi Saud and Kabita Joshi with two wickets, kept Bagmati’s scoring in check. Manisha Chaudhary and Janaki Thapa chipped in with a wicket each, ensuring Bagmati couldn’t build a significant total.
