Police Pound Army, Book Date with APF in National Volleyball Clash!
BIRENDRANAGAR, Surkhet – the Nepal Police Club served up an explosive display of dominance tonight, dispatching Tribhuvan Army Club 3-0 to storm into the 34th Men’s National Volleyball Tournament finals. The Khulamanch court pulsated with energy as these departmental giants locked horns, but it was the Police who dictated the tempo with a commanding 21-25, 23-25, 19-25 scoreline.
Having finished as runners-up in Police Group A, they weren’t about to let history repeat in the semis. Facing the ever-resilient Army from group B, they turned on the power, showcasing immaculate teamwork and pinpoint precision. Their relentless attacks and impenetrable defence proved too much for the Army, leaving them licking their wounds on the sidelines.
But the real fireworks are yet to come. In the other semi-final, the Nepal APF Club put on a clinic, dismantling Gandaki Pradesh 25-23, 25-20, and 25-15. Now, it’s a clash of titans as Police and APF, two of Nepal’s volleyball powerhouses, go head-to-head for the ultimate prize.
