The much-awaited 6th Arna Jhapa Gold Cup, fueled by Yeti Brewery, is poised to ignite on Falgun 19th as organizers unveiled the electrifying schedule on Wednesday.
Featuring 10 top contenders, including A-division powerhouses, the tournament guarantees a spectacle of high-octane football. The opening match starts with a heavyweight clash – the formidable Nepal APF FC locking horns against Sankata FC in a battle for early dominance.
Following this curtain-raiser, the reigning A-Division champions, Church Boys United, will be tested against Nepal Police Club on Falgun 20th, with both teams vying for a coveted quarter-final spot. The victor of the opening clash will then face Bagmati Youth Club of Sarlahi in a first-quarter-final encounter.
Adding to the excitement, the winner of the Falgun 22nd match between Nepal Police and Church Boys will face off against the established New Road Team (NRT) in the second quarter-final showdown.
Football fanatics can brace themselves for an intense battle on Falgun 23rd as the third quarter-final features the departmental powerhouse Tribhuvan Army Football Club clashing with the two-time A-Division champions Machhindra FC.
Falgub 24th promises another heart-stopping clash as much-awaited quarter-finals pit Jhapa 11 FC against ANFA Makwanpur, with both teams aiming to secure their hope for the championship contender.
