France, led by the formidable Kylian Mbappe, initially took the lead as Randal Kolo Muani scored a header in the ninth minute. However, Spain’s response was a testament to their youthful energy, with 16-year-old Lamin Yamal becoming the youngest scorer in European Championship history with a stunning long-range effort. Dani Olmo’s powerful shot, which deflected off Jules Kounde, completed the comeback just four minutes later.

The second half became a tactical chess game, and neither team wanted to give away any equalizer. This win will keep La Roja on course for a 4th European crown, having won earlier in 1964, 2008, and 2012.
