After crushing Sudurpaschim by nine wickets, APF has yet to look back, solidifying their top spot with four points from two games. Meanwhile, Madhesh remains winless after two matches at the bottom.

At Kirtipur’s TU Cricket Ground, Madhesh elected to bat first, but their decision backfired spectacularly. Their batting crumbled under the weight of APF’s relentless bowling attack, surrendering all ten wickets for a meagre 40 runs in just 19.2 overs. Only Pratima Shah reached double figures with a lone 15, while the other Madhesh batters folded with little resistance.

APF’s chase, in stark contrast, was a walk in the park. Captain Sita Rana Magar led from the front, stroking a composed 19 runs, while Jyoti Pandey chimed in with a brisk 16. They reached the target in a mere 5.5 overs, showcasing the gulf between the two teams in class.

APF’s bowling was equally dominant. Rana Magar bagged three wickets, while Rekha Rawal and Suman Bista chipped in with two each. Indu Barma also got her name on the scoresheet with a solitary wicket.

APF’s performance so far has been a masterclass in both batting and bowling. Their early dominance sets them apart as the team to beat in this tournament, and other teams will need to raise their game significantly to challenge their supremacy.
