APF and Koshi Reign Supreme in Prime Minister’s Cup T20 Blitz!

Kathmandu, Nepal: The Armed Police Force (APF) and Koshi Province continued their reign of dominance in the Prime Minister’s Cup Women’s Twenty20 tournament, claiming their third consecutive victory in Sunday’s action.

APF Pummels Lumbini:

The formidable APF juggernaut steamrolled Lumbini by a staggering 90 runs at Mulpani Cricket Ground. Led by Indu Barma’s explosive 70 off 51 balls and Mamta Chaudhary’s 59, APF posted a commanding 151/4. Their potent bowling attack, spearheaded by Indu Barmal (3 wickets) and Binu Budha (2 wickets), then choked Lumbini, restricting them to a mere 61/9. APF now sits atop the table with a flawless 3-0 record, while Lumbini languishes with two losses.

Koshi Cruises Past Madhesh:

At Kirtipur’s TU Cricket Ground, Koshi showcased their class with a comfortable 60-run victory over Madhesh. Skipper Rubina Chhetri (57) and Apsari Begum (39) built a crucial 120-run partnership, propelling Koshi to 129/4. Madhesh’s chase faltered early, and despite Alisha Yadav’s 27 and Aarti Mahato’s 18, they were bundled out for just 69/9. Koshi joins APF at the top, boasting an immaculate 3-0 record. Madhesh, on the other hand, remains winless after three outings.
