Kathmandu, Nepal: The much-awaited KP Oli Cup Football Championship explodes on February 23, with the host team, KP Oli FC, locking horns against Church Boys United in a captivating opening clash.

Organized by the National Youth Federation Nepal, the youth wing of CPN-UML, Nepal, this tournament promises fireworks galore. The first whistle blows at 3 pm at the Anfa Complex, setting the stage for an electrifying encounter.

This year’s edition, more extensive and bolder than ever, features a stellar line-up of 10 teams, including two international powerhouses. Local powerhouses like Manang Marshyangdi, Three Star, Tribhuvan Army Club, and defending champions Machhindra FC will be hungry for glory. But they’ll face stiff competition from Delhi FC and Manebhanjhyang FC, representing India and Nepal’s rising stars like Church Boys United and Jawalakhel Youth Club.

The stakes are sky-high, with the champions crowned with a staggering Rs 11 lakh prize. But every victory is hard-earned, as the journey to the final unfolds in two phases. Quarter-final battles will be fought at the Anfa Complex, while the semi-finals and the grand finale will take center stage at the iconic Dashrath Stadium.
