At Saraswati Ma Bi Ground in Bahundangi, Rolling Club Dhulabari defeated Sanischare FC in the second match of the prestigious Kargil Martyr Suresh Thapa Chhetri Memorial 2nd JCI’s Knockout Football Tournament, organized by the Bhaundangi Jaycees.

Pujan Rai ignited the excitement for Rolling Club as he found the back of the net in the 20th minute, setting the tone for an electrifying showdown. Following his lead, Niraj Karki doubled the lead for Rolling Club in the 26th minute, showcasing their offensive prowess early in the game.

Despite a valiant effort from Sanischare FC, their attempts were thwarted, with Debendra Tamang narrowly missing a golden opportunity with a header in the 34th minute. Moments later, Nima Tamang squandered a one-on-one opportunity, only to be denied by Rolling Club’s steadfast libero, Anusaran, who cleared the ball from the touchline.

As the match progressed, both teams exchanged chances. Niraj Karki of Rolling Club attempted to extend their lead with a powerful strike in the 38th minute, but Sanischare’s resilient goalkeeper denied him.

In the second half, Sanischare FC fought back fiercely, with Saugat Tamang finally scoring in the 62nd minute, injecting hope into their supporters. However, Rolling Club’s defence held firm, ensuring their lead remained intact until the final whistle.

Niraj Karki’s stellar performance, marked by a crucial goal and an assist, earned him the well-deserved Man of the Match title, solidifying Rolling Club’s triumphant 2-1 victory over Sanischare FC in this gripping encounter.

With this impressive win, Rolling Club Dhulabari, a team known for their tenacity and skill, advances to the tournament’s semifinal.
