King City, Canada: In the second match of the triangular T20 series, Nepal showcased its growing prowess in international cricket with a resounding 37-run victory over Oman.
Chasing a challenging target of 177, Oman’s batting lineup needed help to keep pace with Nepal’s disciplined bowling attack. Despite a valiant effort from Soyab Khan, who scored a crucial 45, Oman’s innings fell apart, ultimately bowling out for 139 in the 19.1 overs.
Nepal’s victory was largely attributed to the stellar performance of their bowling unit. Karan KC, the standout performer, claimed three crucial wickets. Kushal Bhurtel and Gulshan Jha also made significant contributions, picking up two wickets each.
