Nepal Announces Preliminary Squad for ICC Women’s Twenty20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers

The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has announced a 24-member preliminary squad for the ICC Women’s Twenty20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers, held in Malaysia from August 31 to September 6.
The squad includes a mix of experienced players and up-and-coming talent. Rubina Chhetri, Sita Rana Magar, and Neri Thapa are all experienced international players who will be critical to Nepal’s chances of success. Youngsters like Apsari Begum, Kritika Marasani, and Bindu Rawal will look to make their mark on the international stage.


Nepal is in Group A of the qualifiers, along with Bahrain, Bhutan, Malaysia, Qatar, and the UAE. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, with the winners qualifying for the ICC Women’s Twenty20 World Cup Global Qualifier.
Nepal will begin their campaign against Malaysia on August 31. They will then play against Bahrain on September 1, Bhutan on September 3, Qatar on September 4, and the UAE on September 6.
