Harry Kane debuted for Bayern Munich on Saturday night but could not prevent his new team from losing 3-0 to RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup.
Kane came on as a substitute in the 64th minute with Bayern trailing 2-0, but he could not make an impact. The England captain had just three touches of the ball in his 26 minutes on the pitch.
Dani Olmo scored a hat trick for Leipzig, the better team on the night. Olmo scored in the third minute and added a second goal in the 44th minute.

He completed his hat trick with a penalty in the 68th minute.
It was a disappointing start for Kane, who joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur for £86 million earlier in the day. The 30-year-old striker is still without a major trophy in his career, and he hopes to make amends in the coming months.
