Spain Stun Sweden 2-1 in Last-Minute Thriller to Reach Women’s World Cup Final

Spain booked their place in the final of the FIFA Women’s World Cup for the first time with a dramatic 2-1 victory over Sweden in Auckland on Tuesday.
The match was level at 1-1 with just minutes to go before Salma Paraluylo scored the winning goal for Spain in the 89th minute. The goal was set up by Olga Carmona, who had also scored Spain’s first goal in the 81st minute.

Rebecca Blomqvist had equalized for Sweden in the 88th minute, but her goal was not enough to prevent Spain from reaching their first World Cup final.
The match was a thrilling end-to-end affair, with both teams creating chances. Spain hopes to continue their momentum in the final, where they will face the winner of the second semi-final between Australia and England.
The final will be played on Saturday at Eden Park in Auckland.
