ACE College defeated Illingston College by three runs in a thrilling encounter to win the Apex Inter College Cricket Cup for the first time on Sunday. The match was played at Mulpani Ground under Group B.

After losing the toss, ACE College batted first and scored 117 runs, losing eight wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. Reul Shrestha scored 29 runs, and Harsh Poddar contributed 12 runs for ACE College. Shubham Sahi of Islington took two wickets, while Adesh Shrestha and Suyash Dhakal took one wicket each.

Chasing the target of 118 runs, Islington lost nine wickets and stopped at 114 runs. Pratham Agarwal scored 32 runs for Islington, Meenal Timalsina 23 runs, and Pratham Bhattarai scored 22 runs. Harsh Poddar of ACE took three wickets, while Bigyan Bhattarai and Ayush Lataula took one wicket each.

ACE fought back valiantly after losing early wickets and defended their total with great skill and discipline. Harsh Poddar was the star performer for ACE College, taking three wickets and scoring 12 runs.
