Liverpool College defeated Islington College by six wickets in Tuesday’s Apex ICC Cup cricket tournament. With the win, Liverpool is in second place in Group ‘B’ with 2 points in 2 matches. Islington is at the bottom of the group after losing both games.
Liverpool chased down Islington’s target of 46 runs in 12 overs, losing four wickets. Abhishek Yadav scored 14 not out, and Prajwal Khatri scored 14 runs for Liverpool. Shuyas Dhakal took 2, and Minal Timilsina took one wicket for Islington.

Earlier, Islington were bowled out for 45 runs in 11 overs after losing the toss and being invited to bat. Khalid Hasan Ansari and Subham Shah scored ten runs each for Islington College. Liverpool’s Bishal KC took five wickets in 4 overs for 20 runs, Chunchu Babu Yadav took two, and Jairam Yadav took one wicket.
In another match that was held on Tuesday, the host Apex College defeated Kathmandu University by seven wickets.
