Nepal Secures Bronze Medal in Women’s Kabaddi at Asian Games
Nepal has secured at least a bronze medal in women’s kabaddi at the 19th Asian Games in China after Iran defeated Bangladesh 56-16 in Group B on Wednesday.
Nepal entered the tournament’s semi-finals by finishing second in the group, behind Iran. The top four teams in the group stage all received a bronze medal.
This is Nepal’s first medal at the Asian Games in kabaddi, and it is a historic achievement for the sport in the country.
Nepal will play their semi-final match on Friday, October 19, against the team that finishes second in Group A. Nepal will advance to the gold medal match if it wins their semi-final.
